A woman in her 30s was reportedly attacked on Monday, January 21 between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the corner of Chapel Hill Rd. and 101st Ave. SE.

“The initial report hasn’t been turned in and the detectives are still investigating the case,” Julie Ubert, of the Lake Stevens Police Department said. “This is a single person making a single allegation.”

After seeing multiple posts on Facebook and receiving several phone calls from concerned citizens Lake Stevens Police want to inform the public that there have not been multiple reports, only one.

“We encouraged people to execute the same amount of personal safety precautions as you would anywhere else,” Ubert said.

The investigation will continue over the next few weeks and no suspect has been arrested.

If you have information regarding this alleged crime please contact the Lake Stevens Police Department at 425-334-9537 or call 911.
