Skyline to perform annual musical

March 19, 2013

The tradition continues as teachers and students at SkylineElementary put on their annual musical production.

This year’s performance will be “The Little Mermaid, Jr.” a theatrical adaptation of Disney’s classic animated film. Featuring beloved songs like “Under the Sea,” and “Kiss the Girl,” the talented students have been in rehearsals since January and are hoping to create a big splash.

Previous productions of “The Jungle Book,” “Beauty and the Beast,” “Aladdin,” and “School House Rock” have been known to sell out quickly and are a great source of pride for the Skyline students.

The two performances will be on Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tickets are $5, and can be purchased at the door, or pre-purchased at http://www.seatyourself.biz/skylinelks.

Come find your sea legs as we embark on a journey into mysterious fathoms below with Flounder, Sebastian, Scuttle, the Sea Witch Ursula and of course, Ariel!
