The police department responded to 590 incidents in the week of April 14 through April 20, 2013. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:

Theft /Vehicle Prowl, 04/14/13,

12400 block of 16th St. NE

Officers were dispatched to a vehicle prowl where two males in their 20’s were observed getting into a vehicle and taking several items. The owner’s reported several bags, which had two computers and a GPS in them taken. The vehicle door was damaged. A description of the suspect vehicle was provided. The case will be investigated upon further information.

Vehicle Theft, 04/14/13, 2000 Block of 71st Ave. SE

A 35 -ear-old male reported that his vehicle was stolen. The vehicle was recovered later in Marysville, unoccupied. The scene was cleared without incident.

Driving Under the Influence (DUI)/Resisting Arrest, 4/14/13, 12000 block of 20th St. NE

A 40-year-old male was arrested for DUI and Resisting Arrest. Officers were dispatched to possible “drunk driver”. The vehicle was located and the driver disregarded the patrol car attempting to stop him and decided to drive home. The male exited his vehicle and tried to flee into his house. Officers stopped the male as he was fleeing. He attempted to resist the officers and was taken to the ground. The male was processed for DUI and booked into Marysville Jail.

Possession of Stolen Property/Vehicle Recovery, 4/14/13, 300 block of 91st Ave. NE

A 37-year-old male was arrested for Possession of Stolen Property. Officers were dispatched to a suspicious circumstance call. The reporting party stated that they located what they believed to be a stolen boat motor on Craigslist. The officers set up a meet with the seller. It was determined that the boat motor was stolen. While the officers were investigating the stolen motor they discovered a stolen motorcycle. The property was taken into custody. Charges were referred to the Snohomish County Prosecutor.

Theft/Vehicle Prowl, 4/16/13,

7000 block of 87th Ave. NE

Officers were dispatched to a Vehicle Prowl. It was discovered the female left her vehicle unlocked in the driveway. The next morning she discovered the vehicle had been entered by an unknown person and her camera had been taken. A report was taken and the scene was cleared without incident.

Reckless Driving, 4/18/13, 1300 block of Vernon Rd.

A 19-year-old male was cited for reckless driving after being involved in a collision. The vehicle was driven off of the roadway and hit a utility pole. There were no injuries and minor property damage. The citation was sent to Marysville Court.
