LSHS graduate, thespian falls to his death in Seattle
LSHS and local thespian Colin Schreiber.
Lake Stevens High School 2005 graduate Collin Schreiber passed away May 3 after climbing a 200-foot power tower in Seattle. Schreiber was electrocuted when he touched a high-voltage power line and then fell to a platform. His body was recovered by Seattle Fire Department.
“A really great soul was taken from this earth...wherever he is, he is making his new world a funnier and more wonderful place. He will be really, really missed,” Kaylee Cruise, who has worked on plays with Schreiber for years, said about losing her friend.
Schreiber was an active member of the theatre community at Lake Stevens High School and Everett Community College, he acted and directed in plays with both drama departments.
“EvCC Theatre lost one of it’s own precious souls...Someone so full of life can only burst forth and through and beyond. I can only hope you knew just a fraction of how much you made an impact on this earth. You will be in our hearts for all time,” Beth Peterson, Theatre Director at EvCC said.
