Eight Lake Stevens’ students will be traveling to Nashville, Tennessee this July to compete in the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America National Leadership Conference.
These students have worked hard all year to complete their projects, earning either first or second place at the state competition.
Projects include educating elementary school students on the importance of a balanced diet and exercise, educating Middle School students on the dangers of bullying, educating High School students about the dangers of distracted driving, preparing to be a secondary educator, and showcasing how our chapter has utilized technology to promote FCCLA.
Two of the students are state officers, who will be participating in leadership training.
All eight students will be competing with their projects, as well as attend leadership seminars and workshops in Nashville this summer.
