NAMI Snohomish County Elects New Officers

At its recent Open Board and General Membership meeting, the National

Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Snohomish County elected its new Board and

Officers for its 2013-2014 operating year. The new Officers are: Keith

Binkley (President); David Hall (Vice-President); Laurie Ummel (Secretary) and

Tena Kibbey (Treasurer). Additional Board members are: Michael

Goza, Kimberly Miller, Jimmy Phillips, Karen Schilde, Mark Soine, Don Swan and

Kathy Chiles.

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to

building better lives for the millions of American’s affected by mental

illness. NAMI Affiliates and their volunteer leaders, located in

every state in the U.S ., work in their local communities to raise awareness and

provide essential and free education, advocacy and support programs.

The new Board wishes to thank Immediate Past President Jim Bloss and his

departing Board for past services rendered, with a promise to carry on in the

tradition established by all past Affiliate leadership – NAMI Snohomish County

has been serving the people of Snohomish County since its establishment over 30

years ago. The Affiliate is always looking for volunteers to help in
