Fishing Derby results from North Cove Park
This year’s Fishing Derby was held at North Cove Park and was presented by Snohomish Sportsman’s Club & Lake Stevens Lions Club.
Fifty kids participated, the winners are as follows and was sponsored by Greg’s Custom Fishing Rods:
First Place Largest Kokanee was 1.40lb caught by Miss Parker Jeanes ($100)
Second Place for Any Species was Max Hill with a 3.15 Rainbow Trout ($75)
Third Place for Any Species was Mackenzie Ramsey with a 2.52 Smallmouth Bass ($50)
Adult divisions had over 220 participants. The winners are as follows:
Adult Division winner Bronson Rowe is a local Lake Stevens young man who loves to fish! After weighing in his 1.68 lb. Kokanee at 11:41 a.m. he spent the next two hours hoping his name would remain on top. And it held!
