Lake Stevens City Council authorizes $2,000 contribution to the Molly Conley Reward Fund
At the Lake Stevens City Council meeting on Monday, June 10 Mayor Vern Little requested and the City Council approved a contribution of $2,000 to the Molly Conley reward fund.
Just two weeks ago the Lake Stevens American Legion Post 181, in partnership with Crime Stoppers, established a reward fund for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the drive by shooting that occurred on June 1.
“I believe that there is someone out there that can help solve this crime and contributing to the reward fund is in the public’s interest to get this issue resolved,” stated Mayor Little.
The City Council approved the contribution under RCW 10.85.030 which authorizes a public agency to offer a reward.
