The police department responded to 466 incidents in the week of September 22, 2013 through September 28, 2013. The following is a brief summary of some of the more notable contacts:

Assault Domestic Violence (DV) 09/23/13

1400 Block of 77th Drive SE

A 31-year-old male was arrested for Assault 4 DV. Officers responded to an assault when the male reported that his 30-year-old wife refused to leave. The investigation revealed that the male had assaulted his wife. The male was booked into Marysville jail.

Vehicle Theft, 09/23/13

200 Block of 99th Drive SE

A 41-year-old female reported that her vehicle was taken sometime during the night. The vehicle was entered as stolen in the database. Pending further information, the case will be re-opened and further investigated.

Vehicle Collision,

09/24/13, SR 9/Lundeen Parkway

A 21-year-old female ran a red light and hit the vehicle of a 61-year-old. The 61-year-old female and her passenger were transported by aide. The scene was cleared without further incident.

Assault 4° Domestic Violence (DV)

09/24/13, 1800 Block of 88th Dr. SE

A 41-year-old female was arrested for assaulting her 45-year-old husband. Officers responded to an assault where a male and female were in an altercation. The female was determined to be the primary aggressor and was booked into Marysville jail.

Malicious Mischief, 09/26/13

2000 Block of Vernon Road

A 26-year old male reported a malicious mischief when he discovered the rear window of his vehicle had been smashed. Officers responded and took an informational report. The victim was unable to provide a motive or suspect at the time. The case will be re-opened, pending further information.

Minor in Possession (MIP),

09/28/13, 100 block of S. Davies Rd.

A 20-year-old male was arrested for a minor in possession of alcohol. A witness reported a possible vehicle prowl in progress. Officers arrived on scene and contacted the male inside a vehicle. He claimed the vehicle belonged to his friend who lived in the area. Through the investigation, it was determined that this information was incorrect. The male showed signs of intoxication and had been kicked out of a party several blocks away earlier in the night. The male was cited for MIP and was released. Charges are being referred to Marysville court.
