Commission to present forum on helping children through adversity
The Snohomish County Children’s Commission is presenting a forum on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 4 at the Henry M. Jackson High School Annex in Mill Creek.
The forum will provide information on how adverse childhood experiences impact families and children, what tools families have to overcome adversity, and how to build a positive future. Learn how ACEs can impact families and what changes promote hope and resiliency.
The Henry M. Jackson High School Annex is located at 1508 136th St SE in Mill Creek. A light dinner will be served from 6:30 to 7 p.m. Supervised childcare will be provided for children ages five and older.

The Snohomish County Children’s Commission advises the Snohomish County Executive Office and Human Services Department staff on matters related to the administration and enhancement of children’s programs. Jackson High School PTSA, Mill Creek Rotary, and Mill Creek Business Association.
