Shop local on November 9

Have you heard about the fun way you can support Li’l Hungry Hearts and the local Boys and Girls Club by getting a head start on your holiday shopping?

On Saturday, November 9, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m ., over 30 local vendors will be set up at the Lake Stevens Boys and Girls Club in support of these local organizations that serve the kids in our community.

Li’l Hungry Hearts works in association with the Lake Stevens Family Center to provide food during the weekends and breaks from school to Lake Stevens School District students.

Additionally, kids are supported through the Boys and Girls Club with social, academic and athletic programs.

Community members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the event and also consider purchasing tickets for chances to win fabulous gifts provided by the vendors.

In addition, opportunities are available to register for Relay for Life or create luminaries that will be displayed at the event this spring.

The support of the community is imperative when it comes to keeping programs and activities alive that inspire greatness in our community.
