Kiwanis and NLMS join the fight against children's cancer

Cans to Fight Children’s Cancer is here for the year at North Lake Middle School!

The Builders Club and Ambassadors have joined forces with Kiwanis of Lake Stevens to gather the cans for a great cause.

The collection is donated to the Lake Stevens Kiwanis who recycles them to raise money for the Kiwanis Children’s Cancer Project.

Children’s cancer affects many families. Thousands of children are diagnosed with cancer each year and with the help of research their chances of surviving has more than tripled.

KCCP hopes to be a part of finding a cure. Not only will this benefit children, it will benefit all cancer patients worldwide.

If anyone in the community has cans to donate they are invited to contact Lisa Sanchez at North Lake Middle School to arrange a time to drop the bagged cans off at the school.
