Obama Care ... gate

Dear Editor,

Lisa Myers and Hannah Rappleye of NBC News verifies President Obama “REPEATEDLY assured Americans that after the Affordable Care Act became law, people who liked their health insurance would be allowed to keep it.”

But followed that comment with “50 to 75 percent of the 14 million consumers . . . can expect a CANCELLATION letter over the next year because their existing policies don’t meet the standards mandated by the new health care law.”

She goes on to say this deception was known about in the Obama Administration for the past three years!

Further in the lengthy article, we read about George Schwab who, along with his wife, had been covered by a monthly premium of $228.

Thanks to the Obama Care debacle, however, their coverage was dropped. The “Comparable” coverage they were offered: $1,208 with a $5,500 deductible! Mr. Schwab is 62 years old.

Then CNN reported some insurance company executives are being strong-armed or threatened into silence regarding criticisms of Obama Care. [So much for freedom of speech under this administration].

And the president is now using every opportunity to tout immigration reform and address NSA spying, so as to deflect media attention.

With the president seemingly making it up as he goes, one might wonder when he will resort to sending out the “Brown Shirts.”

It is sad some people refuse to accept the existence of quicksand until it gets in their noses. Even so, one can hardly accuse NBC and CNN as being vehicles for Conservatism.

Thus, their long-stalled coverage of lies, cover-ups and threats says it has now reached the once stopped-up noses of the left.

Mr. President when you were praying to be able to create a legacy for yourself, you should have been more specific about the kind you wanted.
