Changes coming to parking and drop-off zones at Lake Stevens H.S.

As of Monday, Nov. 18, the City of Lake Stevens began designating no-parking zones on some of the streets surrounding Lake Stevens High School in an effort to increase student safety and improve the flow of traffic before and after school.

Student drop-off and pick-up will no longer take place in lot C in front of the High School. Instead, traffic will be rerouted to the north side of the High School on 30th Street N.E. and the east side of the High School on 113th Ave. NE.

Following the changes, street parking surrounding the High School will be restricted during school hours. Students are encouraged to purchase a parking permit for lot A or B at the High School. School visitors should continue to park in lot C in front of the High School.

Questions concerning the rezoning should be directed to the City of Lake Stevens Public Works Department, 425-377-3235.
