Lake Stevens Fire welcomes Paul Gagnon as their newly elected Fire Commissioner. There were eight candidates on the ballot and the election recount was certified on December 9.
Commissioner Gagnon took his oath of office on December 10 for the short term through December, and he will take one more oath of office in January for the six-year term.
Commissioner Gagnon has resided in Lake Stevens since 2001. His educational background includes an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts, an Associate of Technical Arts Degree in Fire Command Administration, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Service Management. Commissioner Gagnon is currently a Firefighter/EMT with the Everett Fire Department.
