LSPD looking for suspect in Wells Fargo Bank robbery

Just before closing time on Friday, January 3, a man walked into the Wells Fargo Bank on 91st Ave. NE and demanded money from one of the tellers.

According to Lake Stevens Police, the suspect demanded money but soon got impatient and ran from the bank.

"Officers were on scene within a minute of the report, but the suspect fled prior to their arrival," Lake Stevens Police said in a statement.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s and is between 5'9" and six feet tall. He has a slender build and was wearing a hoodie with a baseball cap.

The suspect fled on foot before a K9 team from the Snohomish County Sheriff's Department got there to assist in the search.

The suspect has not been located and police need your help in finding him.

"He also a person of interest in a bank robbery that occurred a week prior outside of the city," Lake Stevens Police Detective Dean Thomas said.
