The annual bluegrass Hootenanny features North Country Bluegrass, Faast & Blair

"Extreme" Bluegrass, Money Creek Mining Company...and more!

Hold on to your seats! Local bluegrass favorites will fill the stage and auditorium

of the Historic Everett Theatre with lightning-fast musicianship and soaring vocals

for the annual bluegrass show.

The February 8th event is the latest version of what has become one of the Hootenanny's

most popular shows. Hundreds of bluegrass fans converge on the Historic Everett

Theatre for a "bluegrass festival without the grass stains." We're proud to present

the red-hot North Country Bluegrass on the show, along with perennial favorites

Money Creek Mining Company, the "extreme" bluegrass sounds of Faast & Blair, and

traditional and contemporary bluegrass by Stillwater Hill.

Tickets are $17.00 for adults, $14.00 for seniors/students/military, and only $5.00

Free parking is available the EverPark Garage, corner of Hoyt and Hewitt, just one

block from the Historic Everett Theatre.

"A Night in Barcelona"

Two-night classical guitar event featuring Randy Haines and fellow members of Ara'Kus,

ballroom and fire dancing and aerial performances.

The music: guitar pieces called from the catalogues of classical and contemporary

composers such as Isaac Albeniz, Francesco Targa, Hector Villa-Lobos and Carlo Domeniconi.

The sights: aerial performers, fire dancing, and non-fire dancing in styles including

ballet, ballroom, tango and waltz.

The musicians: Ara'Kus performers Randy Haines, Deirdre Stinson and Jeremiah Johnson.

How you know guitarist Randy Haines: he's one of the leaders of the popular theatrical

musical troupe Ara'Kus and he usually has devil horns on his head.

Where you've seen Ara'Kus: in their recent spectacle Aeterno Elementum A Heavy

Metal Opera, or standing guard over the neighborhood hellmouth.
