Parents invited to attend forum on marijuana research on health
Lake Stevens High School is hosting a parent forum on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center called “Marijuana Confusion—Sorting Through Research and Experience to Find Our Way to Health.”
The forum will be led by Stephen Bogan, a mental health counselor and licensed chemical dependency professional, and is appropriate for parents and their children ages 12 and over.
The forum will provide an opportunity for students and their parents to get thorough information about marijuana during this time of confusing social norms. The forum will help vet rumors and gossip about marijuana and its recent legalization.
Bogan is also hosting a student forum at Lake Stevens High School during the school day on February 26.
