530 Slide EOC call center closing at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26

Public call center operations at the Snohomish County Emergency Operations Center ceased at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26. Starting at 1 p.m. people should contact the following:

New or pertinent information about missing persons: Call the Snohomish County Sheriff tip line 425-388-3845.

Round-the-clock crisis care hotline for those in the community who have been affected by the landslide: 1-800-584-3578. Professionals are standing by to help you sort through your feelings and frustrations, work through problems and connect to mental health emergency resources. This service is for your counseling help only. Please do not use this number to ask about the status of the emergency response near Arlington or to report information about missing people.

Donations: Cash donations are encouraged in any amount.

Red Cross: Text "RedCross" to "90999," phone 1-800-REDCROSS or donate online at http://www.redcross.org/donate.

United Way of Snohomish County, Disaster Recovery Fund for Mudslide Relief: http://www.uwsc.org or send checks to United Way of Snohomish County, attn: Finance Dept ., 3120 McDougall Ave ., Ste. 200, Everett, WA 98201.

The Red Cross is partnering with the Helping Hands thrift store to accept donations for those affected by the slide. Please bring your donations to the store, located at 18722 59th Ave. NE, Arlington, or contact the store at 360-435-2214. The store is open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. People affected by the slide can contact the store if they are in need of clothing and household items.
