The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office confirms it has received 17 casualties since Saturday, March 22. This latest number includes an infant recovered today.

“We understand there has been confusion over the reported number of fatalities,” said Travis Hots, fire chief for Snohomish County Fire District 22. “This has been a challenging process for all of us. The sadness here is that we know this number will only increase.”

Stephen A. Neal has been identified as a victim of the SR 530 landslide by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. He was a 55-year-old male resident of Darrington, Washington.

The cause of his death was blunt impact and the manner of his death was an accident.

Linda L. McPherson has been identified as a victim of the SR 530 landslide by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. She was a 69-year-old female resident of Arlington, Washington.

The cause of her death was blunt impact and the manner of her death was an accident.

Kaylee B. Spillers has been identified as a victim of the SR 530 landslide by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. She was a 5-year-old female resident of Arlington, Washington.

The cause of her death was blunt impact and the manner of her death was an accident.

William E. Welsh has been identified as a victim of the SR 530 landslide by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. He was a 66-year-old male resident of Arlington, Washington.

The cause of his death was blunt impact and the manner of his death was an accident.
