Garrett Atkinson of Lake Stevens has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2013 fall semester at Dayton University. To qualify for the Dean’s List, an undergraduate degree-seeking student must have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA for that semester and must have been enrolled for 12 or more credits that semester.
Dayna Stoen of Lake Stevens in Snohomish County, a senior at Lake Stevens High School, has received a scholarship to attend Berkeley College. Each year, these scholarships are awarded to High School seniors who demonstrate a high level of achievement.
These scholarships are renewable, based on the recipient’s cumulative grade point average at the end of each academic year and continued enrollment as a full-time student.
Emma French of Lake Stevens has been named to the Dean’s List at Mayville State University in Mayville, North Dakota. You must attain a 3.5 grade point average to qualify.
Lake Stevens School District Announces Feb. 2014 Apple Award Recipients
Nominated and selected by their peers, the following Lake Stevens School District employees will be recognized for their contributions to our district and for their demonstration of excellence in their work.
February recipients of the APPLE AWARD are: Donna Harrington, paraeducator at Mt. Pilchuck Elementary; Mavis Manton, bus driver; Josh Rosenbach, associate principal at Cavelero Mid High School; Carol Swanberg, custodian at Highland Elementary and Kim Wilson, nurse at North Lake Middle School.
Army Pvt. Steve Scheel has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Georgia.
Scheel is the son of Kris Johnson of Lake Stevens.
He is a 2009 graduate of Lake Stevens Senior High School.
