Lake Stevens Ace Hardware and its owners, Greg and Christine Egelstad, have been pillars of the community for several years. Last Wednesday, April 9, Ace Hardware enjoyed the opportunity to host a stop on the nationwide tour of J.D. Power after earning the award for Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Home Improvement and Retail Stores for the last seven years.

"Our J.D. Power Award Neighborhood Tour gave us the opportunity to thank our customers for rating Ace Hardware 'Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Home Improvement Retail Stores, seven years in a row. We know our customers expect topnotch service and appreciate being able to shop at a locally owned and locally operated store. There are approximately 3,800 Ace stores in the country, we were thrilled to be one of less than 140 stores across the country to be honored with having the awards come to our store in Lake Stevens."
The study was based on the input of over 4,000 customers wihtin the last 12 months who have purchased home improvement products.
Ace Hardware ranked highest among major retailers in several categories including merchandise, price, sales and promotions, staff and service, and store facility.Their overall rating was 803 out of 1,000 points.
The Egelstads have spent hundreds of hours volunteering in the community as well including volunteering for Aquafest, the Lake Stevens Education Foundation, Relay for Life and much more. Other local business owners know of their hard work not only in their store but also throughout Lake Stevens.
