North Lake Middle School students, staff and families showed their support for the community of Oso by raising over $2200 at lunches during the week of April 7-10.
Students surpassed their goal of raising $1600 when the ASB, Ambassadors, and Builders Club sold wristbands that would allow students to wear hats on Friday April 11.
Typically, hats are not seen on campus at North Lake.
However, on this day, students dawned their hats and proudly wore the wristbands that they earned by donating to the Cascade Valley Hospital Health Foundation.
These donations will be used to help the impacted families and first responders as well as assist with funeral costs.
Compassion and kindness toward others was evident at North Lake.
