Nighttime ramp closures planned this week for eastbound SR 522/164th Street Southeast interchange in Monroe
MONROE – Drivers who use the 164th Street Southeast/Main Street on-ramp to eastbound State Route 522 in Monroe should be prepared for overnight ramp closures this week.
The 164th Street Southeast on-ramp to eastbound SR 522 will close nightly Monday, April 21 through the morning of Friday, April 25 while contractor crews perform drainage work. The closure hours are 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. A signed detour via Fryelands Boulevard will be in place during the closures.
The work is part of the SR 522 widening project, which will add two new westbound lanes to the highway in the Monroe area from US 2 to the Snohomish River Bridge. The widening project is scheduled to be complete in late 2014.
