State Route 529 closed Sunday morning for Heroes Half-Marathon
EVERETT – Drivers traveling between Everett and Marysville will want to stick to Interstate 5 on Sunday morning, April 27 as State Route 529 will be closed for the Heroes Half-Marathon.
From 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday, both directions of SR 529 will be closed from North Broadway/East Marine View Drive/Walnut Street in Everett to 1st Avenue in Marysville to accommodate runners. There will be no access to northbound SR 529 from 28th Place Northeast and 40th Place Northeast or from southbound SR 529 to East Marine View Drive. There will also be no openings of the Snohomish River Bridge and the Steamboat Slough bridge for marine traffic.
Drivers should use I-5 during the closure hours.
