Lake Stevens Senior Center gets help from United Way
In December of 2013, United Way of Snohomish County provided funding to help eleven local nonprofit agencies reduce intergenerational poverty.
As volunteers for Lake Stevens Senior Center, we wish to publicly thank United Way for including our organization as a grant recipient.
As a result, we are able to serve an additional weekly lunch to seniors in our community.
In connection with this capacity-building grant, United Way includes several intensive classes throughout the year that provide training and guidance for the boards and staff of the grantee agencies.
Thank you, United Way of Snohomish County volunteers and staff! We are pleased that you are partnering with us in serving the population of Lake Stevens.
