On May 9th, last Friday, nearly 80 Forest City Residential Management associates headed over to Mt. Pilchuck Elementary to perform some needed upgrades to the school. All for no cost to the school!

"Forest City Residential Management as a company performs a "Community Day" event annually across the States at several of its locations. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we take turns finding non-profit organizations in each of our areas where we manage homes for active duty military families. This year it was my turn to find a location. I chose Mt. Pilchuck Elementary School." said Rose Bellinger, a Community Manager at Constitution Park Military Community here in Lake Stevens. Bellinger works for Forest City Residential Management."We donate our time and we reach out to our local vendors for support in donating the supplies." Bellinger said.

The Forest City Residential volunteers completed multiple projects including: both indoor and outdoor painting, as the weather permitted, pressure washing, and improvements to the existing landscape. Benches were built for, The Make a Friend Program, along with a memorial bench that was built too. The old basketball hoop nets were even replaced! Several other projects were taken care of by the volunteers of Forest City Residential Management and Mt. Pilchuck Elementary is this years benefactor.
