Relay For Life Updates

North Lake Bulldogs are collecting donations for American Cancer Society now through May 16 during lunches.  For each donation of $2 or more, students will have their names placed on donation cards.  Also, students who donate $5 or more will be able to decorate luminaria bags that will be displayed at the Relay for Life event to honor survivors or remember those lost to cancer.

Kids and adults will Paint the Town Purple on Saturday, May 17th.  The day will begin with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Lake Stevens Kiwanis Club at the Community Center at North Cove Park 6:30-11AM.   Youth participants will be volunteering with Kiwanis Club members at this event to raise funds for Relay for Life.  There will also be a fundraising village setup and a flyover to commemorate Armed Forces Day. Head downtown on May 17th and engage in the fight against cancer!

On May 20th at 6pm, Relay for Life participants can turn in paperwork and  donations, choose campsites, receive event wristbands, and get final Relay details. This evening will mark the final meeting date before the actual Relay for Life event.

May 26th will be the last day for teams to register online, as registrations will not be taken at the gate this year.  The actual event will take place at Lake Stevens High School’s stadium May 31-June 1.
