Lake Stevens Fire and Lake Stevens Police put on 2014 Health and Safety Fair

 

Lake Stevens Fire and Lake Stevens Police will host the upcoming Health & Safety Fair, from 10am – 2pm on Saturday, June 14th. at the. Admission is FREE and there will be lots of great resources in regards to health and safety. Here are a few of the following.

-Lake Stevens Fire Safety House will be open

-Lake Stevens Police will have child ID cards available

-Lions Mobile Health Unit will offer FREE health screenings in the areas of vision, glaucoma, hearing, blood pressure and diabetes

-Snohomish Bicycles will offer FREE safety checks for your bicycles

-LS Family Center will identify community resources available

-Team Fitness will offer fitness tips

-Pet Pros will provide reminders on keeping pets safe during the warm weather

-Red Cross will offer information on disaster preparedness

-Walgreens will help you identify your body composition

-Republic Services will offer tips on waste and recycling

-Summit Rehabilitation will offer tips about returning to activity after injury

-US Postal Inspector will identify common mail fraud schemes to avoid to help prevent identity theft

The Health and Safety Fair wants those who attend to have some fun while learning practical health and safety tips for every day life. There will be a FREE raffle to participate in and various games to play at the booths. This years fair will be held in the parking lot of Albertson's, the Lake Stevens market place
