Baker to the Stars

A local Baker's new book

Have you heard of JENNYCOOKIES.COM? Tori Spelling has. Matter of fact since 2006 many people have. She has created quite a following. It's easy to see why. Just pick up a copy of her new book, EAT MORE DESSERT and take a look at her beautiful dessert table settings. Then check out her recipes. They are easy to follow, uncomplicated, the ingredients sound good and what you've created once you have finished, is your very own masterpiece! No kidding! This is why Keller is such a sensation and the Dessert Baker to the Stars.

From the time Jenny Keller was 3 years old, she loved to bake.  She was introduced to flour, sugar, and butter, from the counter top of her grandma's kitchen.  That love has grown into a passion, and simple chocolate chip cookies have turned into intricately designed wedding cakes and custom created dessert tables.

Keller has appeared on Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, along with her work published in Tori Spelling's latest party planning book CelebraTori.  Her work has been featured in BRIDES magazine, OK! Magazine, Seattle Bride, Seattle Metropolitan Bride and Groom, People.com, US Weekly.com, and hundreds of top entertaining and lifestyle blogs including Lil Sugar, Amy Atlas Events, Hostess with the Mostess, TomKat Studio, Kara's Party Ideas, and many more.

Currently Keller lives in Lake Stevens with her husband, Dan, and their two children.

Her first book, Eat More Dessert, was published this April by Page Street Publishing and sells for $24.99 in hardcover. In her new book, Keller shows home bakers how to create easy, baked treats that are simple yet beautiful, fun, and delicious without too many steps.

Eat More Dessert is "overflowing with simple-to-make and fun-to-eat treats for any celebration, big or small," Jenny says.  "You will find ideas and recipes to celebrate any and every occasion.  I've shared my core group of desserts including my famous sugar cookies to the secret inside my ever-so-moist cupcakes."

The book is broken into themed chapters ranging from baby showers and weddings to holidays and birthday parties.  In addition Jenny provides tips and tricks for creating the perfect dessert table.

On Thursday, June 26th Keller will be signing her new book at the Mill Creek, University Bookstore from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
