This past season, Lake Stevens and Granite Falls Girls Softball Teams merged to form a Juniors Fast pitch All-Star Team. They went 3 and 1 in the District 1 All Stars tournament in June.

They started the WA State Tournament with a 11-2 win against District 9's Bellevue/Mercer Island team, only to continue with another win the following night against District 6, Ridgefield, with the score 10-1.

After an upsetting loss against District 10, Auburn, they again faced Ridgefield in an intense showdown that ended with a Lake Stevens/Granite Falls win 3-2. They would again face  Auburn and a bittersweet loss, 14-0. Despite the loss the Lake/Falls Junior Fast Pitch All Star Team proudly took 2nd  place in the WA State Tournament.

This is the furthest any Lake Stevens or Granite Falls Team has ever gone in Little League softball. Coach, Tiffanie Daer, said the girls worked hard and she couldn't be more proud of how far they came. The girls played outstanding all season and played with the heart of champions.

As for the Team, they commented that they were so grateful for all the family, friends and fan support during this amazing journey.
