The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), sponsored by Catholic Community Services, seeks people age 55 and over for a variety of volunteer opportunities. We are looking for volunteers specifically to help in schools as tutors, mentors or coaches. There are schools available all over the county. Times and days of the week vary. If you think education is important, if you can relate to kids and have a few hours a week, we want to meet you. Numerous studies point to the fact volunteers have a better quality of life and, on average, live longer than those who don’t. If you want to find out more about volunteering in Snohomish County call RSVP today. For more information please email John McAlpine at or call (425) 374-6374 or toll free at 1-888-240-8572.
