Superintendent thanks community for supporting kids and schools

Dear Editor,

Once again the Granite Falls School District Community voted to support our children and schools.

I greatly appreciate the positive response we received in the last election.  Proposition 1 replaced the expiring School Program and Operations and passed by 61.24 percent.

Proposition 2 replaced the expiring Technology and School Improvements Levy and passed by 62.99 percent.

These results are the highest percentage the district has seen in the last ten years!  We give many thanks to the community and for voting this school election.

Final election results were posted on February 25 on the Snohomish County elections website for those interested in following the returns.

Remember: “Levies are for learning!” and both of these items will ensure critical funding for district programs and priorities.  I am grateful to be a part of the Granite Falls family.   Thanks again for your support!

Linda R. Hall, Superintendent

Granite Falls School District
