Here are some fun and exciting programs coming to the Granite Falls Library in March:
Furry Friends & a Book
Read aloud to loving canine listeners who help children strengthen reading skills. Spring, a Labrador Retriever, is a trained Pet Partners’ Therapy Dog, and Andre, a Briard, is a Therapy Dogs International trained canine. Human partners are Christina Bunn/Sonia Thompson. For school-age children with caregiver. Tuesday, March 4 from 5-7 p.m.
Ready Readers Preschool Storytime
Let imaginations run wild with fun books, sing-alongs, and creative activities that prepare young minds for the adventures of reading. Playtime will follow. For ages 3 to 5 years. Caregiver required. Supported by Friends of the Granite Falls Library. Thursdays, March 6, 13, 20, 27 at 10:30 a.m.
Rockin’ Rollercoasters
Use teamwork to engineer a roller-coaster for marbles from recycled material. Learn about potential, kinetic & rotational energy & friction, presented by Imagine Children’s Museum. Space is limited so please register online or with library staff. Funded by the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation. Friday, March 14 from 1-2 p.m.
