Smartphone apps, social networking sites can be dangerous for kids; parents need to know the dangers, including bullying

The Miss Aquafest Royalty were up bright and early Saturday, October 4th to help volunteer at the Snohomish County Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Everett. These young ladies helped register and check in participants that attended the event and also participated in the 5K walk. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is a 5K walk to raise funds and awareness for groundbreaking breast cancer research, comprehensive support for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients, and access for mammograms.

The Aquafest Royalty would like to extend a big thank you to Chavvahn Gade with the American Cancer Society for allowing them to volunteer.  The girls walked in honor of friends and family who are survivors of breast cancer and in rememberance of those who have lost their battle.
