Paige Norris of Lake Stevens honored by Children’s Hospital

On Sunday, November 23rd, Paige Norris, a LSHS sophomore, will be honored by Seattle Children’s Hospital with a Tree dedication. Norris was chosen among 21 children. Having been a four year patient of the Hospital, Norris is currently in remission from a chronic condition known as Crohn’s disease.

The Tree Dedication occurs at the Festival of Trees Celebration, now in it’s 37th year, and is a fundraiser for Seatttle Children’s Hospital. It is a free public event, (donations are appreciated), at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, on Sunday, November 23rd from 2-5 p.m.

There will be musical entertainment, a storyteller, refreshments, an inexpensive holiday gift boutique and children’s boutique. Everyone can enjoy the opening of the Teddy Bear Suite and the Fairmont Olympic Hotel Tree Lighting!  Santa will attend and photos will be available for just $15, by Yen Lui.

There are twenty-one exquisite trees at the Festival of Trees Celebration. Each tree has a Children’s Hospital patient story on display as well. Paige Norris and her family would like to personally invite the Lake Stevens community to join them for this beautiful holiday event!
