The Granite Falls High School leadership team, along with staff and many volunteers, spent two full days sorting and organizing all the generous donations from the Granite Falls community. This year, the drive raised a grand total of 22,443 items and totaled $10,527.25 in monetary/gift card donations.
“This is a huge undertaking and I am so thankful for the blessed staff in Granite Falls School District that supports adopting so many families for the holidays.” Said Eric Dinwiddie, teacher and GFHS Student Leader Advisor.
GFSD adopted 204 total families and over 500 children received gifts for the holidays. The local Granite Falls food banks each received a large moving-van-load of food as well. It took two days to deliver all the items.
