This June, Tom Tri—head coach of the Lake Stevens High School (LSHS) football team—will share his leadership statewide as the head coach of the West team for the annual East/West All-Star Football Game in Moses Lake, Wash. Tri was nominated for the position by other coaches based on his experience and passion for the game.

“I love working with the kids and seeing them compete and succeed both in and out of the classroom,” said Tri, who also teaches PE and social studies at LSHS. “This represents the hard work and dedication of my entire coaching staff, players and the community as a whole. I am honored to represent Lake Stevens in this fashion.”

The East/West All-Star Football Game brings together stand-out players and coaches from around the state. Tri will have a week of preparation time with his coaching staff prior to arriving in Moses Lake, and will have one week with his staff and players leading up to the big game.

Tri has coached football at LSHS for the past 15 years, eight as head coach. He was an assistant coach for the West team in 2008.
