Miller wins his third national ski championship

Steve Miller shows off his moves on the water. Miller can often be seen whipping around Lake Stevens and at competitions like Aquafest’s Ski Competition.

Lake Stevens local Steve Miller, can be seen whipping around the lake and many probably think it’s some young kid doing jumps and stunts out there, but no, Miller is a 55-year-old who continues to ski with passion even taking part in competitions including our own Aquafest Ski Competition.

Miller was recently featured in The Water Skier magazine, a publication of USA Water Ski in an article entitled, “Ageless Wonder” which talks about Miller’s skiing history and recognizes the titles he won throughout his career.

Miller recently won his third title in the Men 5 national jumping and overall champion in the 55+ division at the GOODE Water Ski National Championships.

Miller continues to be an avid skier while running his company, American Distributing Co. with his wife Dru.

His first national competition was in 1997 where he competed as a Men 3 slalom skier.
