Upcoming Miss Aquafest workshops

The 2014 Miss Aquafest Pageant workshops will be held on May 4, May 18 and May 25 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake Stevens Community Center (next to City Hall). 

The Miss Aquafest Pageant workshops are focused on building interview skills, stage presence, individual introductions and the general pageant entry paperwork. 

In addition, the Miss Aquafest Directorship has arranged for headshots to be taken and wardrobe assistance, in some cases. 

The workshops are an opportunity to ask questions, gain information on the program, and make new connections in the community. 

The Miss Aquafest Pageant is community service based, is age appropriate, and winning contestants receive scholarship awards and have the privilege to represent Lake Stevens Aquafest throughout the region during the upcoming year. 

There will be a meet and greet for the 2013 Miss Aquafest Royally on April 27 at 10 a.m. at Rainy Days Caffe in downtown Lake Stevens.
